After some research quite literally ‘in the field,’ I’ve begun some sketch paintings for a sunflower series, to complement the poppy series and potentially to be used as a series for a greetings card publisher.

The 2 metre wide seascape I’m painting in oils is almost there. Just waiting on the sky to dry to give it another layer then I can paint in the starlings. Should be finished by the weekend.

New Pebble Heads painting underway that I’m donating to a charity auction called ‘Stars on Canvas’ in aid of The Willow Foundation. This is a rough sketch painting, should’ve done it straight on to the canvas as I like it’s spontaneity.
