It was an exciting afternoon today as two of my art print deckchairs were featured on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. He even sat in one! Summer might be over for the rest of us in the UK but for Alan Titchmarsh the grass is always greener and it’s never too late to enjoy sitting in a deckchair in the garden. For those in warmer climates or with a holiday home abroad, snap up one of my art print deckchairs as Alan Titchmarsh will be talking about them on his show this Friday 26th October, 3-4pm on ITV.
My poppy pieces are popular with visitors at exhibitions. This deckchair uses a detail from a painting in The Signification of the Poppy series. It was originally going to be used for a garden makeover programme with Titchmarsh but it was decided he’d prefer to feature them on The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
Hope I remember to catch the programme on the day!

Smart Deco’s Life’s A Beach Deckchair by the British artist Jacqueline Hammond featured in the national newspaper The Sunday Telegraph’s Sunday supplement, Stella Magazine. The article read:
