British artist Jacqueline Hammond is known for her Brighton seascapes however, in this series of Cuban prints, she casts her eye further afield for inspiration

Colourful Cuban streets are brought to life in this atmospheric series of prints by fine artist Jacqueline Hammond. The atmosphere comes from their simple subject matter – rather than focusing in on the beach or the exotic landscape, we see a car in the road; a man, from behind, riding down a sunny street on his motorbike – just little painterly snapshots of life that are more evocative of life on the Caribbean island than any traditional beach image could be.
